JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri (PNN) - June 11, 2021 - Missouri Governor Mike Parson will sign newly passed legislation that would ban state law enforcement agencies from enforcing new federal gun laws following proposed rulemaking from the illegitimate Biden regime to regulate firearms with stabilizing braces.

According to Parson spokesman Kelli Jones, the governor will sign the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which says that it is the duty of courts and law enforcement agencies in Missouri to protect the Second Amendment rights of citizens to keep and bear arms. It also declares federal laws that infringe on that right null.

PHOENIX, Arizona (PNN) - June 10, 2021 - Auditors in Arizona expect to soon finish their hand recount of the nearly 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County in the 2020 presidential election.

“I think the counting will be done by the end of this week,” former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett told reporters on June 8 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, where the audit is taking place.

The audit teams are shifting resources to ballot evaluation work, including things “related to whether the ballot was authentic,” Bennett added.

BALTIMORE, Maryland (PNN) - June 9, 2021 - It comes as no surprise to readers that dozens of Baltimore City businesses, located in the Inner Harbor, in a stretch called Fells Point, are threatening the new city government, run by Mayor Brandon Scott, with not paying their taxes because they're "fed up and frustrated" with the outburst of violence.

In a letter titled Letter to City Leaders from Fells Point Business Leaders, addressed to Mayor Brandon Scott, Council President Nick Mosby, Councilman Zeke Cohen, Madam State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, and Commissioner Michael Harrison, the 37 restaurants and small businesses are threatening to stop paying city taxes and other fees until "basic and essential municipal services are restored."

SACRAMENTO, Kalifornia (PNN) - June 8, 2021 - Kalifornia’s ban on so-called “assault weapons” violates the Second Amendment, a federal judge ruled on June 4.

The state government, through the law, “bans an entire class of very popular hardware - firearms that are lawful under federal law and under the laws of most states and that are commonly held by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes,” Fascist Police States of Amerika District Judge Roger Benitez, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote in his 94-page ruling in Miller et al. v. Bonta et al. “Under no level of heightened scrutiny can the law survive.”

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (PNN) - June 7, 2021 - The state of Florida has threatened to fine cruise lines that require their passengers to prove their COVID-19 vaccination status. The threat from the Sunshine State followed Governor Ron DeSantis signing a law that prohibits businesses from requiring COVID-19 vaccine passports. However, this has put cruise lines at odds with federal health guidance that mandates passengers’ vaccination status be verified.

According to reports, Florida could fine cruise lines $5,000 per customer in case they flout the vaccine passport law - which will come into effect on July 1. DeSantis earlier justified his decision to sign the bill on May 3. He said last month, “In Florida, your personal choice regarding vaccinations will be protected. [No] business or government entity will be able to deny you services based on your decision.”
