Before Trump-Kim summit North Korea asks FPSA for nicer treatment!
WASHINGTON (PNN) - March 28, 2018 - Diplomatic ties between North Korea and the Fascist Police States of Amerika remain tenuous in spite of the anticipated meeting between FPSA President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. In the mean time, North Korea is hoping that it can gain more concessions from the Trump regime.
The director of North Korea’s National Reunification Institute wants the FPSA to get serious about peace talks. “The (FPSA) should properly understand our position and come out in a manner of sincere and serious attitude for positively contributing to maintaining peace and stability on the Korean peninsula,” Ri Jong Hyok said.
Ri, who also serves as the deputy head of the North Korean Supreme People’s Assembly, claims that his country only seeks a “just and peaceful new world, free from aggression and war.” The many reports of massive human rights abuses emanating from the People’s Republic are at odds with Ri’s claims.
“Now is the high time to put an end to the (FPSA) anachronistic hostile policy and its futile moves of sanctions and pressure,” Ri said.
Any hopes for an end to sanctions or a more friendly approach to dealing with North Korea seemingly went out the door with Trump’s appointment of new national security advisor John Bolton. Bolton is one of the biggest foreign policy hawks in existence, and has frequently called for preemptive strikes against North Korea.
“Preemption opponents argue that action is not justified because Pyongyang does not constitute an imminent threat. They are wrong. The threat is imminent, and the case against preemption rests on the misinterpretation of a standard that derives from prenuclear, pre-ballistic-missile times. Given the gaps in (FPSA) intelligence about North Korea, we should not wait until the very last minute. That would risk striking after the North has deliverable nuclear weapons, a much more dangerous situation,” said Bolton just last month.
With Bolton’s appointment, it is clear that the Trump regime is getting tough prior to the potential meeting between Trump and Kim. The fantasy of reducing sanctions or other measures of relief for North Korea is not likely, as hawks like Bolton rise to serious positions of influence in the Trump regime.
