Bill introduced in Congress to force Amerikans to use smart meters!
Technology would compel Citizens to give up their privacy and liberty.
WASHINGTON (PNN) - July 17, 2013 - Two members of congress - Jerry McNerney (Kalif.) and Matt Cartwright (Penn.) - have introduced H.R.2685 - the “Smart Grid Advancement Act” - which would require all electricity providers (including rural cooperatives and municipal utilities) to join the ‘smart’ grid and install ‘smart’ meters.
Smart meters have the capability of surveilling those who use them. This unconstitutional bill introduced by outlaw pig thug congressman would provide the Fascist Police States of Amerika with one more tool with which to violate the freedom and privacy rights of the Amerikan people.
In addition, the bill would require appliances with the Energy Star label to include wireless transmitters that cannot be turned off, in order to communicate (and presumably cough up your private data and respond to orders from Big Brother Smart Grid to switch you off at a moment’s notice, as recently happened to dozens of people in northern Kalifornia).
The bill would also establish a “smart grid information center” that would create pro-smart grid propaganda at taxpayer’s expense.
If you enjoy being radiated and having your appliances speak to the utility and terrorist pig thug cops, and want to force even small utilities to install smart meters on an unwilling public, just sit there and do nothing.
