April 1, 2024 - What Mother Teresa seems to be saying, is that the ultimate purpose of our lives is to do good for others and follow our hearts and that we should not be discouraged by obstacles or challenges along the way.
Your dreams and desires are yours and yours alone. You were born to share them and by doing so bring joy to others. Don’t let others who may not understand that fact discourage you. The joy you feel by sharing your gifts and having a positive impact on others is reward enough.
You have to get past the fear, jealousy, comparisons, and worries and keep focusing on yourself and how you can be a light for others.
This poem encourages you to stay true to your values and principles, to act with kindness and honesty, and to focus on your own actions rather than worrying about the opinions of others.
