America - a Hell of a Place to Live

on . Posted in A Woman's Point of View

Man is unique in the animal kingdom in that he has the ability to create, through choice, that which he experiences. However, regardless of man’s claims to advanced technologies, there are some natural elements over which he has no control. Nevertheless, man’s ability to choose how to react to these natural elements makes him different than all other animals.

I am saddened by what man has created on Earth. Even with all his imagination, creativity and ability to create for good, man has instead created hell on Earth. Some would call that a natural outcome of the fall from grace. Others would say that Yahushua came to absolve us from that same fall. Ultimately, any response is secondary to the results of man’s creation on Earth. Today, human life on Earth is a living hell.

The united States of America was created with the hope that its Citizens would follow the principles enshrined in the founding documents that gave this country life. These documents were Divinely inspired and called for The People to be the rightful rulers of their own lives. They placed government in a subservient role to The People, who were given control of their own destinies. The Declaration of Independence was more than a break from Mother England, it was a break from the tyranny of having an outside source in control of the lives of individuals. It was a testament to the individual responsibility of self-governance.

The united States of America was a wonderful and hopeful creation of people who believed that men could take responsibility for their own lives and thereby attain their most ambitious goals. With hard work, strong morals, and a limited government, the goal was for the Citizen to break free from the bonds placed on him by excessive taxation, control, and regulation by the government. All the tools necessary to create a free world and establish self-determination as a cornerstone of life were afforded the Citizens of these united states.

However, our forefathers’ dreams have become is the nightmare that is the United States. Instead of individual freedom of self-expression and creativity, we have a federal government that is more tyrannical, controlling, and invasive than past governments. Through the abusive use of modern technology, today every American is scrutinized and controlled from birth to death. Those who oppose such invasiveness are often silenced and minimized in their attempts to warn the rest of America as to the inherent dangers of allowing their government to extend its powers beyond the constitutional limitations placed on it.

Instead of maintaining the gift of freedom that was given to us by our Creator, Americans have made a disaster of their country. Living in modern America is like living in hell. No longer are her citizens committed to high moral standards. The American people have accepted and even condone the destruction of our Founding Documents. Our Founding Fathers’ dreams have become an American nightmare.

Due to apathy and complaisance, average Joe American now represents all that is bad with our country. Instead of supporting the best in people, the United States, through those who have been elected to govern the country, brings out the very worst in the human race. Lying, cheating, stealing and killing are standard behaviors for the federal government, and it is American citizens who have allowed this spiritual poison to be unleashed on their country and the world.

The American People have failed to demand a moral government founded on the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for the United States. Without those governing documents to guide us, America has become dismal, unprincipled and oppressive. By allowing the principles enshrined in our founding documents to be violated, Americans, along with their oppressors, have sunk into the dark slime of tyranny. Americans have the ultimate power over the actions of those elected to run their country. By failing to act against it, they have become no better than the oppressive government that imposes its will on them.

Instead of taking action, Americans make excuses, complain and whine that elected politicians do not respond to their letters, faxes and phone calls. Instead of doing whatever is necessary to reinstate our founding documents, Americans hide their heads in the sand and continue to erroneously believe that theirs is the freest country on the face of the earth.

It is never too late to reinstate the principles of individual liberty and self-determination expressed in our founding documents. We the People can always act, even if Revolution is their only remaining course.

However, it is much easier for most people to do and risk nothing rather than acknowledge that the existing non-constitutional form of government in the United States no longer represents the best form of self-governance ever devised by man. It is easier to live the life of a slave than to admit that Americans have created a living hell that is both tyrannical and evil. It is easier to live a comfortable lie than face and ugly and unpleasant truth.

Rather than living in hell, will you be one of those who demand a return to the principles of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution for the United States? Will you do more that just talk about freedom and self-determination? Do you have the courage of your convictions? Will you do whatever is necessary to give your children a chance to live free?

I pray that you will.

National Addiction

By Lee Parker

I admit that I did not listen to Bush’s latest State of the Union address. I had just had dinner and did not want the indigestion that watching and listening to him would bring. However, I did read responses to his annual speech of lies and I watched several commentaries on television.

Well, believe it or not, I agree with Bush! I don’t remember ever agreeing with him, but this time I must. He said that the nation is addicted…..to oil. I agree with that but I also recognize the myriad other addictions that the people of this country embrace.

In making a list of the addictive tendencies of the people of the general population, I have to start with lying. This country is addicted to lying and liars. How else could you explain  the fact that Bush, Clinton, Roosevelt and every other President have consistently lied to the American people? Why do we continue to accept lies around weapons of mass destruction, and send our young people to die in a country that has done us no harm? Saddam Hussein was neither connected with the September 11th attacks or Osama bin Laden. As a country, we tend to support both Bush the liar and the lies he promotes.

You might say that lying is necessary in today’s complex world. In fact, some people would even say that lying is normal.

To accept this line of thought and justification only shows the level of denial the people of this country are experiencing. In fact, denial around our addictions is what keeps these  addictions in place.

There is no such thing as a minor addiction. All addictions are major in their ability to separate you from your soul. As a country, we have become separated from our soul: the Declaration of Independence and Constitution for the United States. Any addiction actually removes you from connection with a higher power or Creator. All addictions create a dependency on someone or something outside the individual, a need for a “fix”. Bush feeds us that fix whenever he speaks about Iraq and the War on Terror.

I know about addiction and denial because I faced and overcame my addiction to alcohol. For years, I lived with the denial that I had a drinking problem before I came face to face with my behavior and dependency on a poisonous substance that I used to pretend my life was OK. I no longer drink because doing so would take me back into a world of insanity and denial.

Denial maintains an addiction, just like the denial we face as a country maintains the New World Order being ensconced in Washington D.C. During his presidency, the elder Bush informed us that we would become part of a New World Order; his son is dutifully carrying out his promise. The rest of the country denies that such a thing could ever happen and justifies the actions of the United States, based on their addiction to lies, such as the great lie that America is still the freest country in the world.

We lie to ourselves and everyone else. However, the rest of the world sees our addictions and denials and knows that we have already lost our fight for Truth and Freedom. America is no longer a free country.

You support these lies every day of your life by paying taxes that you are not legally required to pay. You live in denial by sending your children to public schools. You support lies every time you obey your government public servants by blindly following  orders to present your “papers”.

Bush is right. We are an addicted nation and YOU maintain that addiction through your denial and justification of a government that operates outside the Constitution. You support the darkness of lies every time you go along with the status quo, in order to get along. Welcome to the world of addiction. Until you let go of denial and address your own complicity as to how things got this way, the addictions will continue until the day you wonder how it ever got so bad.

When that happens, I suggest you go look in a mirror. You are the cause and reason why we are where we are today. Nothing will ever change unless you change your addiction to lies and address your denial of reality. We are an addicted nation.

In order to break free of an addiction, you must change your behavior. Until all Americans face the Truth as to their individual denial and take responsibility for and stand against lies wherever they appear, this country will continue its downhill spiral until one day you are all in concentration camps, living the very real lives of the prison you have built out of AmeriKa!

Then servitude will be your reality and all the denial in the world won’t change it.

The American Dream is a Sham

By Lee Parker

I moved to the country so I could be free. Free of the congestion. Free of the intrusive eyes of Big Brother. Free of the mass mentality that believes anything on TV must be true.

I wanted to be free from the pace, hassle, and pressure of urban life. I just wanted to be free to breathe clean air and drink clean water.

However, after being in the country for several years, I now see civilization creeping my way; new housing developments are almost at my doorstep. Is this the American Dream? If so, I find myself thinking, “BEWARE of the American Dream.”

The newly constructed houses are exactly like modern America. They are constructed on landfill, so as the ground shifts, the foundations will break. A good contractor knows that a solid foundation is necessary if the house is expected to survive the challenges of time and weather. Do not buy a house built on landfill or expect one to survive if the foundation is not set on solid ground.

Like these new houses, America no longer rests on a solid foundation. The foundation of America has shifted. The sands of time have broken the bedrock on which this country was built.

I walked through some of these houses and was amazed at the mass-produced construction. Expensive looking bricks covered particleboard exteriors. Fancy false fireplaces were made of flimsy metal. The plumbing was plastic. The exterior was plastic. Every conceivable trick was used to build a house that looked good on the outside but was cheap on the inside.
People who buy these houses don’t know who constructed the walls, joists, tile, brick or mortar. They have no control over the workmanship and cannot ensure the quality of the work, and most will have to go into debt to purchase a house that will fall apart before the loan is paid off!

The structure of America today is very similar to these cheaply made houses. In American politics, short cuts are taken wherever possible. Rather than adhere to our highest laws, Congressmen regularly vote for regulations that spit on our Constitution, often without even reading the bills themselves! State and local government officials ignore the will of their citizens by consistently passing burdensome ordinances and imposing oppressive taxes. Every day, elected officials violate the trust of their constituents in order to further their own thirst for money and power. The American Dream has become a house of cards.
The American Dream has become a nightmare of self-serving, money-grubbing politicians that are more interested in building what looks good than what is well made. The American Dream is a house whose foundation has been eroded by infestations among its population, of apathy, self-interest and complaisance. No longer do the American people care about the integrity of those who have been hired to run their country for them.

Just like these new homes, Americans prefer glitz and glitter to quality and longevity. Today’s American Dream house is superficial, cheaply made, and not intended to last. Americans accept this superficiality in homes just like they do in politics.

The American Dream is a sham. Glitz and glitter are all that matter. Honor and integrity have no value. Self-interest and insatiable greed are social norms. Quality be damned. People be damned. America be damned.

Beware the American Dream, and don’t buy a house built on a poor foundation and not intended to last.

The Abomination of Cloning

on . Posted in A Woman's Point of View

By Lee Parker

Why does man think that he can improve on the Creator‘s work? When humans try to create life, they are attempting to be God and this is WRONG. When man tries to duplicate life in the form of a clone, he is violating the fundamental law of Creation. A clone is a clone. It is not a human being. It is a copy, a reproduction, a replication, and an abomination. Dolly, the cloned sheep, is not a sheep. It is a clone! I am furious at the audacity of some humans who think they can improve on God’s work.

As a mother who carried her child to term, I cringe at the scientific community’s ill-conceived attempts to create life. The birth of my son was a gift from God! How dare humans trivialize such a gift! How dare they think they can replicate the perfection of life! How dare humans demean all women by removing children from the womb and placing them in Petrie dishes!

I wonder about what will happen to the mistakes that occur during the cloning process. And what about the pain and suffering that the resulting life might face? I am disgusted at the immorality of a society that condones creating life outside the womb.

I would not put it past world leaders to attempt to clone humans and turn them into a Star Wars-like clone army, which mindless drones could be used for any number of evil deeds. Man is not known for his righteous use of humanity… millions of lives have already been lost in man-made wars. It would be much easier to clone soldiers and let them get killed instead of us. This immorality must be resisted at all costs! It is an abomination.

Additionally, look at the confusion cloning will bring. Our dictionaries will have to create a new category for a cloned human. Since a clone is replicated and not created, churches will have to decide if a clone has a soul.

I, for one, would be very upset to learn that my son was married to a clone. Assuming that a clone could reproduce, I would be concerned that my grandchildren would have clone blood and not be true-blooded humans. Also, there will have to be new government services offered in order to train clones to function in a human world. A clone will not have “human rights” since it is not human. This new class of being will likely be considered a piece of property and therefore treated as a slave. Or maybe it could find a job as a government worker.

Only God can create true life, so clones might be considered sub-human. We will need to create an entire social awareness for the love and acceptance of clones. Children will have to be taught that the abomination of cloning is really “natural”, just like same-sex marriages, and should be tolerated.

The arrogance of the human mind thinks it can place itself on the same level as the Creator. It is Dr. Frankenstein at his worst. This arrogance will bring the downfall of the human race, either directly through war or indirectly through this mis-creating of life. Man does not have the moral authority or celestial wisdom to replicate life and that is precisely what cloning is: the replication of that which the Creator has made. Simply put, cloning is morally wrong!

Don’t let propaganda and hype justify the official position on cloning. Don’t underwrite immorality through unwillingness on your part to speak out against this reprehensible abomination. If you allow any cloning, you allow all cloning. Consider your responsibility as a human to protect yourself from being replaced by a clone. If you allow cloning, you make that possibility more of a reality than a fantasy. This is not science fiction. This is FACT. With human cloning, YOU become nothing more than a commodity that can be replaced with the flick of a test tube. YOU become truly dispensable!

Becoming the Lie

on . Posted in A Woman's Point of View

By Lee Parker

Once upon a time lying was unacceptable; it was simply not allowed. Those who lied were branded as untrustworthy. They were shunned in business and social circles. Lying was neither condoned nor ignored.

However, the voice of truth seems to have been silenced among the people. How else can you explain modern society’s acceptance of lies as a natural part of life? Lies are accepted as truth in every aspect of our culture. Lies are told between family members, government and citizen, clergy and parishioner, and no one seems to care.

As a child, I remember having my mouth washed out with soap for telling a lie. My mother insisted that something in my mouth must have made me lie because she knew that I knew that lying was wrong! After I cried long enough, she sent me to my room to think about what could have made me lie.

My mother’s discipline affected me in such a profound way that today I cannot stand liars. I’m one of the few people I know who values truth and despises lies. Amazing. It is as if the truth doesn’t matter to most people, if only there’s a reasonable lie in its place.

I hate to see what the acceptance of lies has done to the American people. On February 13, 2004, a small article was published in "Democracy Now", in which the White House admitted that President Bush lied in his 2002 State of the Union address, saying that Al Qaeda had obtained plans to U.S. nuclear plants. Bush lied about possible terrorist threats to our nuclear plants!

It galls me that George W. Bush lied to the American people in order to emotionalize the country into backing his invasion of a sovereign nation and no one seems to care. We were manipulated into sending our young men and women to die or get wounded in Iraq. Doesn’t that upset you?

Or look at the evil lies perpetuated by the clergy for years. According to news stories like the March 4, 2004 AP release about Reverend Barry Ryan of Florida sodomizing a young boy, and convictions for pedophilia like that of Reverend John Geogam, who was sentenced to 10 years in jail, the Catholic Church knew of acts of pedophilia perpetrated by their priests. They knew yet they tried to cover them up. They lied to those who trusted them. Doesn’t that upset you?

Lies have a way of destroying the lives of their victims.

For example:

  • Many people lost their life’s savings and retirement funds based on the lies of Enron executives;
  • Because of Halliburton Corporation’s misrepresentations, taxpayer dollars went to pay inflated charges for services provided to Iraq.
  • The U.S. educational system is socially engineering your children through programs like Goals 2000, while lying to parents about what they are actually teaching.

Does any of this upset you?

Lies, lies, everywhere you look… everyone lies. People tell big lies and little lies. They lie to each other and to themselves. Lies cover lies and pretty soon, the truth is irreparably obscured.

The acceptance of lies as a social norm is fundamentally immoral. Morality and lying are mutually exclusive. When a lie is uncovered and the Truth is revealed and few, if any, demand accountability from the liars, then society ends up supporting the lie. By not exposing a lie - any lie - you become the lie, at which point your actions are based on a lie.

For example, by accepting George W. Bush’s lies you condone them. By accepting any lie you condone it. The only alternative is to object, to make a big stink. Whenever you encounter lies and misrepresentation, identify the liars. Get your friends and colleagues together and expose the lies. Write articles, make a nuisance of yourself with your congressman’s office, don’t stop until all lies are exposed!

Either you side with the liar or you side with the Truth. There is no middle ground. There is no such thing as a "little white lie" or half-truth. It is one or the other. Either you support the lie or you expose it.

I’ve already made my choice. I will not live my life as a lie. Now you choose.
